How To Make Dan’s Grilled Cheese Recipe

A classic grilled cheese with a twist!

Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 tbsp of butter
  • 8 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of tomato
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.

  3. Place two slices of cheese on four slices of bread, then add a slice of ham and tomato on each.

  4. Place the remaining slices of bread on top, butter side facing out.

  5. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides.

  6. Allow the cheese to melt before removing from the pan.

  7. Serve hot with salt and pepper to taste.
