Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and egg.

  3. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

  4. Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture, then into the milk mixture, and finally into the panko breadcrumbs.

  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

  6. Fry onion rings until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  7. Drain on a paper towel.
