How To Make Dan’s Veggie Burger Recipe

A healthy and delicious homemade veggie burger that’s perfect for lunch or dinner.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 medium carrot, grated
  • 1 medium zucchini, grated
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mash the chickpeas in a bowl until they form a paste.

  2. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, zucchini, breadcrumbs, flour, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well.

  3. Shape the mixture into 4 patties.

  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  5. Cook the veggie burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.

  6. Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings.
