How To Make Dan’s Chili Recipe
A hearty and spicy chili recipe that’s perfect for chilly nights.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans (14 oz each) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 2 cans (15 oz each) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream, for serving
Instructions

In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Add onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.

Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Season with salt and pepper.

Bring chili to a simmer over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Serve hot with shredded cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
