How To Make Culver’s Grilled Reuben Melt Recipe

A classic sandwich with shredded corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, melted Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices rye bread
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1/2 lb shredded corned beef
  • 1 cup sauerkraut
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.

  2. Spread Thousand Island dressing on 4 slices of rye bread.

  3. Top each slice of bread with 1/4 lb of shredded corned beef and 1/4 cup of sauerkraut.

  4. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the sauerkraut.

  5. Spread butter on the remaining 4 slices of bread and place on top of the cheese, butter side up.

  6. Grill the sandwiches on the skillet or griddle for 3-5 minutes on each side, until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.

  7. Serve hot.
