A cheesy take on an “egg in a hole” breakfast, this delicious cheesy egg toast recipe is a fun breakfast to have with your family!

  • 1bread,slice
  • ½tbspbutter
  • 1egg
  • 3tbspcheese,shredded
  • salt,to taste
  • pepper,to taste


  1. With a spoon, press down on the center of the bread to form a pocket.

  2. Line the edges of the bread with butter, and crack an egg into the pocket.

  3. Line the edges of the bread with shredded cheese.

  4. Sprinkle on salt and pepper, and bake at 400 degrees F for about 10 to 15 min; at 10 minutes, the yolk will be runny whereas 15 minutes will have a firmer yolk. Enjoy!
