Broccoli Swiss Quiche Recipe

How To Make Broccoli Swiss Quiche

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 yellow onion (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced )
  • 1 pie crust (unbaked, 9 inch )
  • 4 eggs (beaten)
  • salt
  • pepper (to taste)
  • ½ pound Swiss cheese (grated into coarse pieces)
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted )
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Prepare filling:

  1. In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.

  2. Cook garlic, broccoli, and onion in the butter. Cook and stir until vegetables are soft.

  3. In a bowl, combine milk and eggs and season it with the salt and pepper.

  4. Add a teaspoon of melted butter and stir.

Assemble:

  1. Pour vegetables into the unbaked pie crust. Sprinkle with cheese.

  2. Add in the milk and egg mixture.

  3. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the center has set.
