How To Make French Bread Pizza Caprese

This French Bread Pizza Caprese recipe only calls for less than 10 minutes and 5 ingredients to make a healthy and delicious vegetarian-friendly meal!

  • 8ozFrench bread baguette,whole wheat
  • 4ozfresh mozzarella cheese,sliced thin
  • 2medium tomatoes,sliced thin
  • 1tbspbalsamic glaze
  • 1tbspfresh basil,chopped


  1. Cut the bread in half lengthwise, then cut each half crosswise in 2 pieces to make 4 pieces total.

  2. Tear the cheese into pieces, and place it on top of the bread.

  3. Place it under the broiler or toaster oven for about 2 to 3 minutes, until the cheese melts.

  4. Remove from the oven, top with tomatoes, drizzle with balsamic, and finish with fresh basil.
