Serves:

Ingredients

  • 500g minced meat
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 red chili, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 head of lettuce, separated into cups
  • Garnish: chopped cilantro, chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add onions, garlic, and red chili. Cook until onions are translucent.

  2. Add minced meat to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

  3. Add cumin powder, paprika powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

  4. Cook the mixture for another 5-7 minutes until the meat is cooked through and the flavors are well combined.

  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  6. Arrange lettuce cups on a serving platter and spoon the spicy mince mixture into each cup.

  7. Garnish with chopped cilantro and green onions.

  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
