How To Make Slow Roasted Rabbit

Ingredients

  • 1 whole rabbit, cleaned and dressed
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C).

  2. Place the rabbit in a roasting pan and rub it with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.

  3. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.

  4. Roast the rabbit in the preheated oven for 2 hours.

  5. Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).

  6. Roast for an additional 20 minutes to brown the rabbit.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
