How To Make Chocolate Fondue & Toasted Marshmallow

Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Marshmallows, for toasting
  • Assorted fruits and cookies, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and place them in a heatproof bowl.

  2. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat.

  3. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 1-2 minutes. Stir until smooth and well combined.

  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

  5. Transfer the chocolate fondue to a fondue pot or heatproof serving dish.

  6. Toast the marshmallows over an open flame until golden brown and gooey.

  7. Arrange the toasted marshmallows, fruits, and cookies on a platter.

  8. Dip the marshmallows, fruits, and cookies into the warm chocolate fondue and enjoy!
