How To Make Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 can (15oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 can (12oz) evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish.

  3. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.

  4. Beat eggs in a separate bowl and mix into the pumpkin mixture.

  5. Stir in evaporated milk and mix well.

  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and bake for 15 minutes.

  7. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F and continue baking for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  8. Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
