How To Make Maple Pecan Tart
A rich and decadent dessert with a buttery shortcrust pastry, maple syrup filling, and crunchy pecans.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, mix together the flour, butter, and granulated sugar until it forms a crumbly mixture.

Press the mixture into a 9 inch tart pan, ensuring it is spread evenly along the bottom and up the sides.

Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes until it is golden brown. Remove and let it to cool.

In another bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, brown sugar, heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in the chopped pecans.

Pour the mixture into the cooled crust and spread it evenly.

Bake for 30-35 minutes until the filling is set and the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before serving.
