How To Make Cherry and Port Glazed Ham Recipe

A sweet and savory ham recipe glazed with cherry and Port wine sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 (4-pound) fully cooked bone-in ham
  • 1 cup of Port wine
  • 1/2 cup of cherry jam
  • 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F and line a large roasting pan with foil.

  2. Place the ham in the pan and score the surface in a diamond pattern.

  3. Mix the Port wine, cherry jam, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and ground cloves in a bowl.

  4. Brush half of the glaze over the ham and roast for 1 hour.

  5. Brush the remaining glaze over the ham and roast for another 1.5 hours, basting occasionally.

  6. Let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
