  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound Andouille sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sausage and onions and cook until the sausage is browned and the onions are softened.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in the cabbage, salt, and pepper, and sauté for 5 minutes until the cabbage is wilted.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
