How To Make Rhubarb Cake Recipe
A sweet and tangy dessert cake made with fresh rhubarb!

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups rhubarb, chopped
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.

In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in egg.

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, until batter is smooth.

Fold chopped rhubarb into the batter and pour into greased cake pan.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
