How To Make Mixed Vegetable and Tofu Stir-Fry
A vibrant and nutritious dish with colorful veggies and protein-rich tofu in a savory sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 14 oz firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

Add red and yellow bell peppers, onion, broccoli, and carrots. Stir-fry for 5 minutes until the veggies are slightly tender.

Add minced garlic and ginger and stir-fry for another minute.

Add cubed tofu and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, and water. Add the sauce mixture to the wok and stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the veggies and tofu.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot with rice or noodles.
