Mixed Vegetable and Tofu Stir-Fry Recipe

How To Make Mixed Vegetable and Tofu Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 14 oz firm tofu, drained and cubed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

  2. Add red and yellow bell peppers, onion, broccoli, and carrots. Stir-fry for 5 minutes until the veggies are slightly tender.

  3. Add minced garlic and ginger and stir-fry for another minute.

  4. Add cubed tofu and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.

  5. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, and water. Add the sauce mixture to the wok and stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the veggies and tofu.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot with rice or noodles.
