How To Make Banana Pepper and Onion Pasta Recipe
A delicious vegetarian pasta dish with a spicy kick from banana peppers and sweet onions.

Ingredients
- 1 pound pasta
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 banana peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add banana peppers, onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10-15 minutes until peppers and onions are softened.

Add pasta and reserved pasta water to skillet and toss to coat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until pasta is warmed through and coated in sauce.

Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
