Ingredients
- 4 large carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 parsnips, peeled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk or cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Place the carrots and parsnips in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.

Drain the vegetables and return them to the saucepan. Add the butter, milk or cream, salt, and pepper.

Mash the vegetables with a potato masher or use an immersion blender to achieve a smoother consistency.
