Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup chopped scallions
  • 1 cup cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

  2. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces with a wooden spoon.

  3. Add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir to combine.

  4. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until the turkey is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

  5. To assemble the lettuce wraps, spoon the turkey mixture onto each lettuce leaf.

  6. Top with cilantro and scallions.

  7. Serve with cooked rice on the side.
