How To Make Ginger Turkey Lettuce Wraps

We have turkey sandwiched between lovely bread, baked as pie filling, and cooked in a casserole. Whatever way it’s served, turkey meat is a versatile dish you just can’t get enough of.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 head of lettuce, leaves separated
- Optional toppings: chopped peanuts, Sriracha sauce
Instructions

Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ginger and garlic, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey. Pour over the turkey in the skillet and stir to combine.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the turkey is fully cooked and coated in the sauce.

Remove from heat and stir in green onions and cilantro.

To serve, spoon the turkey mixture onto lettuce leaves. Top with chopped peanuts and Sriracha sauce if desired.

Roll up the lettuce leaves and enjoy!
