How To Make Honey & Mustard Steak with Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 4 steaks (approximately 6 oz each)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, and Dijon mustard. Brush the mixture onto both sides of the steaks.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steaks for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside to rest.

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and mushrooms and sauté until the mushrooms are golden brown and tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Slice the steaks against the grain and serve them with the sautéed mushrooms. Garnish with fresh parsley.
