Ingredients
- 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until softened.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the pot and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.

Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
