How To Make Easy Slow Cooker French Dip Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 French rolls or hoagie buns
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions

Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.

In a bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and black pepper. Pour the mixture over the beef in the slow cooker.

Cook on low for 6 hours or until the beef is tender and easily shreds.

Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.

Preheat the oven to broil.

Slice the French rolls or hoagie buns in half lengthwise and place them on a baking sheet.

Spread melted butter on the inside of each roll and broil for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted.

Remove the rolls from the oven and spread Dijon mustard on one side of each roll.

Place a generous portion of shredded beef on each roll, then top with two slices of Swiss cheese.

Return the baking sheet to the oven and broil for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve the French dip sandwiches with a side of the cooking liquid from the slow cooker for dipping.
