  • 1 lb fresh salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked and flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, green onions, Dijon mustard, fresh dill, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Shape the mixture into 8 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon cakes and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. Serve the salmon cakes hot with your favorite dipping sauce or a squeeze of lemon juice.
