How To Make Salmon & Ginger Fish Cakes

Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

In a food processor, pulse the salmon until finely chopped. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.

Add the grated ginger, green onions, garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the salmon. Mix well to combine.

Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the fish cakes for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through.

Remove the fish cakes from the skillet and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Serve the salmon & ginger fish cakes hot with your favorite dipping sauce or a squeeze of lemon.
