How To Make Grilled Mackerel with Sweet Soy Glaze

Ingredients
- 4 mackerel fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger.

Brush both sides of the mackerel fillets with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper.

Place the mackerel fillets on the preheated grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Brush the soy glaze on both sides of the mackerel fillets during the last 2 minutes of grilling.

Remove the mackerel from the grill and garnish with chopped green onions.

Serve the grilled mackerel with steamed rice and your favorite vegetables.
