Ingredients

  • 12 large scallops
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Wrap each scallop with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season scallops with salt and pepper.

  4. Sear the bacon-wrapped scallops in the skillet for about 2 minutes on each side, until the bacon is slightly crispy.

  5. Transfer the scallops to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes until scallops are cooked through and bacon is crispy.

  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
