How To Make Leek & Mustard Vinaigrette with Carmarthen Ham

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of Carmarthen ham
  • 2 leeks, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the sliced leeks. Cook for about 5 minutes until softened.

  3. Add the vinaigrette to the leeks and stir well to coat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the flavors meld together.

  4. Remove the leeks from the heat and let cool for a few minutes.

  5. Place a slice of Carmarthen ham on each plate and top with a generous spoonful of the leek and mustard vinaigrette.

  6. Serve as an appetizer or alongside a main course.
