How To Make Zesty Turkey and Rice

  • cupsSwanson® Chicken Stock
  • 1tspbasil leaves,dried
  • ¼tspgarlic powder
  • ¼tsphot pepper sauce
  • 1cantomatoes,stewed
  • ¾cupregular long-grain white rice,uncooked
  • 1cupfrozen peas
  • 2cupsturkey,or chicken, cooked


  1. Heat the stock, basil, garlic powder, hot pepper sauce, and tomatoes in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat to a boil. Stir in the rice. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.

  2. Stir in the peas and turkey. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the rice is done.
