How To Make Ricotta Gnocchi

Ingredients
- 2 cups of whole milk ricotta cheese
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
- Marinara sauce, for serving
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Gradually add the flour, mixing until the dough comes together and is slightly sticky.

Lightly flour a clean surface and divide the dough into 4 equal parts.

Roll each part into a long rope, about 1 inch in diameter.

Cut the ropes into 1-inch pieces and gently press each piece with a fork to create ridges.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the gnocchi in small batches, cooking until they float to the surface.

Remove the cooked gnocchi with a slotted spoon and transfer to a serving dish.

Serve the ricotta gnocchi with marinara sauce, garnish with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese.
