Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- for the gravy:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet or in a loaf pan.

Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).

While the meatloaf is cooking, prepare the gravy. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour until well combined. Gradually whisk in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Cook, stirring constantly, until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Once the meatloaf is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve the meatloaf with the brown gravy.
