Ingredients

  • 4everything bagels loaves
  • 3tbspbutter
  • 1medium sweet onion
  • 1large leek
  • 2celery stalk
  • 4garlic cloves
  • 2lbfresh mixed wild mushrooms
  • 4sprigsfresh thyme leaves
  • 2sprigsfresh rosemary
  • 2fresh sage leaves
  • cupschicken broth
  • salt and pepper,to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Chop toasted bagels into small chunks and set them aside. Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Raise heat to medium-high and add onions, leeks, celery, and garlic and stir until lightly browned.

  3. Add bagel chunks, mushrooms, and all herbs. Stir ingredients to heat through, until mushrooms are soft.

  4. Transfer ingredients to a prepared casserole dish. Cover bagel stuffing with the chicken broth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes, until the stuffing is golden brown. Cover with foil to keep warm until ready to serve.

  6. Serve warm and enjoy.
