How To Make Air Fryer Buttermilk Fried Chicken Recipe

- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Add chicken drumsticks to the buttermilk mixture, making sure they are fully coated. Let marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

In a shallow dish, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Remove chicken from the buttermilk marinade, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat each piece in the flour mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.

Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the coated chicken in a single layer, making sure they do not touch.

Spray the top of the chicken with cooking spray.

Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 12 minutes, then flip the chicken and continue cooking for an additional 12-15 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked through.
