Ingredients

  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp freshly grated nutmeg
  • 4 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat cream and nutmeg over medium heat until just simmering.

  2. Remove from heat and add chopped chocolate and butter. Stir until melted and smooth.

  3. Transfer mixture to a small bowl, cover, and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.

  4. Using a small scoop or spoon, form mixture into small balls and roll in cocoa powder.

  5. Refrigerate truffles until firm, about 30 minutes.
