Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tsp of ground cardamom
  • 1/3 cup of maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Mix ground cardamom and maple syrup in a bowl and set aside.

  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

  4. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper and place them skin-side down.

  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.

  6. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet, skin-side down, and brush the glaze over them.

  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  8. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
