Ingredients

  • 4 large Portobello mushroom caps
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.

  3. Brush mixture onto both sides of the Portobello mushrooms.

  4. Grill mushrooms for 5-7 minutes on each side, until tender and juicy.

  5. Toast burger buns on the grill.

  6. Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and grilled Portobello mushrooms.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
