How To Make Halloumi Vegetable Skewers

Grilled halloumi cheese and veggies served on skewers make a delicious and healthy vegetarian meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 block of halloumi cheese, cut into cubes
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 10 button mushrooms
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Thread the halloumi cheese, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, bell pepper, onion, and zucchini onto skewers.

  3. Mix the olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

  4. Brush the skewers with the olive oil mixture.

  5. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the veggies are tender and the halloumi is lightly charred.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
