How To Make Asparagus & Parmesan pastries

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 12 asparagus spears, trimmed
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into 4 equal squares.

Place 3 asparagus spears on each square. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.

Fold the edges of the pastry squares over the asparagus to form a small tart.

Brush the pastries with beaten egg and transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the asparagus is tender.
