  • 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Place the trimmed asparagus on a baking sheet.

  3. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and toss to coat evenly.

  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over the asparagus.

  5. Use your hands to toss and make sure all asparagus spears are coated with the seasonings.

  6. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet.

  7. Roast in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the asparagus is tender and lightly browned.

  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
