How To Make Raw & Cooked Asparagus with Lemon & Parmesan Butter

- 1 bunch of asparagus
- 2 tablespoons of butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Snap off the tough ends of the asparagus stalks. Set aside.

In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.

Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the asparagus spears for 3-4 minutes, until bright green and slightly charred.

Transfer the cooked asparagus to a serving dish. Drizzle with the lemon and Parmesan butter mixture.

Serve the raw asparagus alongside the cooked asparagus, with additional lemon and Parmesan butter on the side.
