How To Make Soy Ginger Beef Stir-Fry Recipe

This is a savory and flavorful dish made with tender beef, soy sauce, ginger, and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, sesame oil, and water. Set aside.

  2. Season beef with salt and pepper.

  3. In a wok or large skillet, heat oil over high heat.

  4. Add beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  5. Add garlic and ginger to the same pan and cook for 1 minute.

  6. Add bell peppers and snow peas to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

  7. Add the cooked beef to the pan and pour in the soy sauce mixture.

  8. Continue to stir-fry until the sauce thickens and everything is heated through.

  9. Serve over rice and garnish with sliced green onions (optional).
