Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, milk, and egg. Mix until well combined.

  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

  5. In a separate saucepan, heat the marinara sauce and hot sauce over medium heat until heated through.

  6. Add the cooked meatballs to the saucepan and toss to coat them in the sauce.

  7. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

  8. Serve the spicy meatballs hot with your favorite side dish or as a sandwich filling.
