How To Make Microwave Banana Pudding

- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 package vanilla wafers
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Sliced bananas, for garnish
Instructions

In a microwave-safe bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, sugar, cornstarch, and salt.

Gradually whisk in the milk until well combined.

Microwave on high for 4 minutes, then whisk well.

Continue microwaving in 1-minute intervals, whisking well after each interval, until the pudding thickens, about 3-5 minutes more.

Stir in the vanilla extract.

Layer the bottom of serving dishes with vanilla wafers.

Pour the pudding over the wafers, then top with another layer of wafers.

Repeat layers, ending with a layer of pudding on top.
