  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion

  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-6 minutes.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together yogurt, heavy cream, and a pinch of salt.

  5. Reduce heat to low and pour the yogurt mixture over the meatballs in the skillet. Stir gently to coat the meatballs in the sauce.

  6. Cover the skillet and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro. Enjoy with rice or naan bread.
