  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Gradually add in the evaporated milk and beaten eggs, stirring until well combined.

  4. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the unbaked pie crust.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (180°C).

  6. Continue baking for another 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Remove the pumpkin pie from the oven and let it cool completely.

  8. Serve chilled or at room temperature, and enjoy!
