  • 4 large Portobello mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Clean the Portobello mushrooms and remove the stems.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the mushrooms in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them sit for at least 10 minutes, flipping once halfway through.

  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  5. Grill the mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are tender and slightly charred.

  6. Remove the mushrooms from the grill and let them cool for a few minutes.

  7. Slice the mushrooms and serve them with a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley.
