How To Make Apricot Pie

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh apricots, pitted and halved
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 prepared pie crust
  • 1 tablespoon of butter, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the apricots, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix well.

  3. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Trim the edges and crimp them.

  4. Pour the apricot mixture into the pie crust, spreading it evenly.

  5. Dot the top of the filling with the diced butter.

  6. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

  7. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
