Instructions

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cherries soften and release their juices, about 10-15 minutes.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, until the compote thickens slightly.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
