  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine diced strawberries and sugar. Cook over medium heat until strawberries have released their juices, stirring occasionally.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch and water together until smooth.

  3. Slowly pour the cornstarch mixture into the strawberry mixture, stirring constantly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool completely before using as a filling.
